Accomplishments of the Society

The accomplishments fulfilled by the society since its foundation:

• Acceptance of His Royal Highness Prince / Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, of the honorary presidency of the society.
• A contribution of two million  Saudi Ryals by His Royal Highness Prince / Sultan bin Abdul Aziz to support the Assembly in achieving its desired objectives.
• The launching of the society’s website.
• Publication of a directory of the society members in 2002 - 2005.
• Publication of an agenda for civil engineers, containing information about the Engineer of the Year in 2003-2005.
• Increase in the number of members of the society, reaching 826 until now.
• Publication of introductory Leaflets of the General society that explain its vision and objectives.
• The opening of a branch of the society in Riyadh.
• The opening of a branch of the society in the Eastern Region.
• Joining of the Concrete Sciences Division with the American Concrete Institute of Science (ACI) to the General Branch of the Kingdom under the name of the Division of concrete.
