The Cybersecurity Center at King Abdulaziz University concluded its month-long Cyber Risk Awareness Campaign, held under the theme :

Stop… Think Before You Click,” which ran from October 5 to 30, 2025.

During the closing ceremony, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Amoudi, Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity, honored participants on behalf of University President Dr. Tareef bin Youssef Alaama, in recognition of their contributions throughout the campaign.

Dr. Rayan bin Hisham Mousli, Director of the Cybersecurity Center, stated that the campaign included a variety of cyber awareness sessions, interactive content, and engaging competitions aimed at raising awareness about cybersecurity threats, promoting safe online behavior, and empowering individuals to protect their personal data and devices.

We delivered impactful awareness initiatives through innovative methods, including lectures, hands-on workshops, and informational cards, to ensure effective cybersecurity messaging across the university,” he said.

The Cybersecurity Center plays a key role in establishing incident response frameworks, implementing preventive security measures, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity protocols across all relevant sectors. It also promotes cyber awareness among university staff and students through diverse communication channels, including email campaigns, social media, and training sessions.
